Grape with aloe underneath and a cool mint finish. It is the only grape-based flavor in the Mello 20K menu, which is why it gets searched by name — the aloe keeps it closer to a cordial than a grape candy. It belongs to the City Series, Flum's mint-based set.
08 What is the difference between Ruby Green and Ruby Yellow? +
Both are strawberry-led and neither has ice. Ruby Green pairs strawberry with guava for a warmer, slightly perfumed tropical note. Ruby Yellow adds mango and lemon instead, which makes it noticeably brighter and tangier. Ruby Yellow is the more citrus-forward of the two.
09 Is it Summer Delux or Summer Deluxe? +
Flum prints it as Summer Delux on the device, but it is searched both ways and both refer to the same Standard Edition flavor — a mixed tropical blend led by pineapple and mango, with no added ice.
10 Which Flum Mello flavors have no ice? +
Read it off the name and the edition. Anything with 'Ice' or 'Icy' in the title carries a cooling layer, as do the two mints, Spearmint Watermelon, Sapphire and the whole City Series, which is built on a mint base. Everything else is uncooled — that covers the Ruby pair, Strawberry Blast, Summer Delux, Sunshine Cherry, Watermelon Peach Lime, Fabulous, Tobacco, and the Floral Delights and Valentine editions.
11 What does Flum Velvet taste like? +
Red velvet cake — cocoa with a cream cheese tang and vanilla sweetness. It is the only dessert flavor in the Mello 20K range and it is rich enough that most people treat it as an evening pick rather than an all-day one.
12 Are Red Bells and Reindeer still available? +
No. Both were Christmas Edition seasonals and Flum has not re-run them, so there is no current stock to order. For Red Bells, Strawberry Blast covers the strawberry side and Vol.9 the raspberry; for Reindeer, Milano Adore is the nearest iced-blueberry substitute.
13 What are the Vol.1, Vol.5 and Vol.9 flavors? +
They are Flum's numbered Special Edition. Vol.1 is green apple with honeydew, Vol.5 is a clean mineral 'spring water' note with light mint, and Vol.9 is raspberry with cranberry. Vol.5 is the least sweet thing in the entire Mello menu and the most divisive.
